Hyatt Centric Montréal

Walkable to sites. Clean and helpful staff.

Hotel is fine but for two things. 1) parking takes a 6 min ride to get to the garage entrance. Access to the parking lot from inside the hotel is fine after that. 2) the hotel is not very convenient to restaurants or old Montreal. The rooftop pool is excellent and provides a tremendous view of the city.

The parking was difficult to find. GPS had trouble getting us to the parking garage. Also, once in the garage, the signage was inadequate to find the entrance to the hotel. Additionally, I asked the woman who checked us in to speak up three times and she didn’t. I couldn’t hear or understand her. She was very nice, but couldn’t speak clearly enough. The rest of our stay was excellent. The room was beautiful and comfortable, the pool area quite nice, breakfast was fantastic, other staff very helpful and pleasant.

Upon checking in, payment for the room was made. At that time the hotel charged me twice. I was reassured that the charges didn't go through. They hotel asked for another payment. When I checked my statement. I saw the double payment did in fact when through. The hotel reassured me just to call the bank to get the realase. Called the bank. They bank confirmed that Hyatt charged me and it was on them to give me my money back. To say that almost $1500 extra charges taken from my account was a major inconvenience is an understatement. I was on a trip with my kids. I had events planned stays in other city. That was all jeopardize The hotel kept saying we released your money so tough luck. Nothing we can do. My point is, if I couldn't pay for my room they would have called the cops on me and my family. But overcharging me almost $1500 shouldn't be a big deal to me. I should just wat 10 to 15 business days. No matter if I cannot pay for the rest of my trip. Nothing was offered for the inconvenience, no one can do anything. This was the worse experience at a hotel to date.

The hotel location was nice and central in Old Montreal. Cleaning staff left something to be desired but the rooms were so nice it was easy to overlook that.

Buffet breakfast is weak. The time i was there, the toaster didn’t work and no one seemed to care.

Excellent place to stay in Old Montreal. The staff is super friendly. Great food as well! Would definitely be back :D

Ils nous ont pas donner la chambre au niveau supérieur qu'on m'avait promis par vos services pour 11.00$ de plus. Pour le reste supérieur bien.

Love this place. Super clean & modern. Happy hours at hotel bar is best. Heated pool on top floor. 15 min walk to Notre Dame Cathedral. Would stay there again.

Finding the hotel parking (underground) is challenging.The parking spot is very tight, be carefull.
