The onsen was very nice and well maintained. The buffets were excellent, loved the unlimited crab. The staff was very helpful.
The facilities were somewhat dated and there was a smell of mildew. This is likely understandable with the location directly above the onsen.
The other issue was the air conditioning in our room. We were there in July and the AC was woefully inadequate.
All balanced, the experience was really quite nice and there was good value. The downside was a somewhat deferred upgrade seventies experience.

old (i mean not as modern) design of the building. Well maintained as we visited in 2016 and now in 2026 we decided to re visit.
