The staff is wonderful. They supported my diet after an intense medical procedure. They were helpful with local attractions and local maps etc. Very good service. Older hotel but well maintained and clean. Great location for access to the old city.

හොඳයි There were ants throughout the space, especially in the bathroom, and nothing could be left out without them getting into it. To make matters worse, the refrigerator wasn’t working, which was very inconvenient. That said, the staff were excellent and the breakfast was good.

The only good thing about the Golden Bell Hotel was the staff. The owners need to get in and get the place cleaned up, fix the windows, wash the curtains, replace the bedding and Beds, get the mould out of the bathrooms tiles. Insulate the walls between the rooms.
On the whole, although we booked for four days we were out of there the next morning as early as possible after the first really unpleasant might,
Oh, and I forgot to mention on arrival. My friend’s room stank the grey water smell was coming through the whole room and was impossible to stay in.they did refund our money without a lot of hassle, after contacting Expedia first, would never stay there again and they really need to get their acts together. People work hard for their money and when they go on holidays, they want a good experience.

Staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Wonderful location. It’s a quiet hotel but super convenient to everything the Old City has to offer. Walkable! Good breakfast, nice cold and refreshing pool, comfortable rooms. Would definitely stay here again!
