Had an amazing stay , the staff are second to no-one , nothing was to much trouble and they did it with a smile , we have stayed in a few places in York but with a hand on my heart this place was very good and worth the stay

Room clean Staff pleasant Breakfast great no parking had to park 15 minute walk to hotel poor & got ripped off 2 nights in the park car £57 absolute disgraceful

Rooms were so nice and clean, the breakfast was amazing and staff so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel. Bring eyemask if visiting in summer as rooms are very light. Handy location as well.

We had a 3 night stay. The hotel is in a great location for access to the old city. Our room was a reasonable size. Bed and pillows were quite firm. The hotel was very clean. Included breakfast was a bonus offering all the basics. Our hot water did not work on the last day and as we were checking out, the staff seemed indifferent to that.

Rooms were clean and spacious. The restaurant/bar area was well designed and comfortable. The outside area was a pleasant place to have an evening drink. Breakfast was good. A lovely range of food. The coffee machines were a bit of an issue as only was working. Maybe a hot water dispenser for tea drinkers would have helped keep queue shorter. Staff were extremely friendly and the wi-fi was reliable and easy to connect to. The location of the hotel was great. It was just around the corner from river pubs and about a ten minute walk to the Minster.
