One of the worst experiences I have ever had at a hotel.
Sexual harassment at the pool area seemed very common. Men were making women extremely uncomfortable, touching women inappropriately, approaching guests with disturbing comments, and creating an unsafe environment.
When I reported what happened to the reception staff, the response was dismissive and irresponsible. I was told that these individuals were “day-use guests” and that “sometimes they do that.” This is completely unacceptable and showed no concern for guest safety or protection.
The reception experience overall was very disrespectful and unprofessional. I was also charged significantly more than the price listed on Expedia. The advertised price was $91, yet the hotel refused to honor that rate.
In addition, despite the hotel being nearly empty, I was placed alone on the sixth floor where there were no other guests. This made me feel even more uncomfortable and unsafe after what happened at the pool.
I contacted the hotel directly regarding this urgent matter and never received any response.
As an American traveler, I have never experienced a hotel with such lack of security, protection, professionalism, and respect toward guests. This situation was handled very poorly, and I believe compensation is absolutely warranted for the money I paid and for the horrible experience I endured.
