Good hotel! Solid for the price! The shower design was a bit weird as it flooded the bathroom super easily and the WiFi and tv were spotty. Besides that, good stay, good location and solid hotel.

Time for a facelift methinks. The basic room area was quite run down - need to patch and paint the walls, update light fittings, replace carpet and improve the layout by removing the dividing cupboard in the middle of the room. The divider creates a queen bed sandwiched between two walls. The bathroom was more up to date and clean. Prices were sky high for Dark Mofo and way too high for this budget accommodation. Great location though, and could do well if a little spruced up.

Very comfortable bed, good bathroom, reasonable temperature for time of year. Laundry room has 5 industrial washing machines and 5 industrial dryers, costs A$15 for the day, you can do as many washes as you like. Opposite is New Sydney Hotel, best pub in Hobart, good food, beer, whiskey and live music. Plenty of other restaurants and pubs nearby

Cramped and with too much furniture in the room, shower was too small and we heard the cleaning staff passing comments about the length of time we were in the even though we left before check out

A budget friendly accommodation with modern features throughout. Parking options available onsite with after hours access an option.
The hotel is situated right in the heart of the city with all good cafes and restaurants within minutes on foot.

Room was very clean. One of the mugs had a big chip in it and needed replacing. The lamp next to one of the beds didn't work. No power points next to the beds which was annoying.
The heat pump was great, kept the room at a comfortable temperature. Was never too hot or too cold throughout the night.
Paid for parking but was never told how to make the boom gate go up so couldn't get in and had to run back into reception to ask how. Either needs to be explained better on check in or better signage of how to get into car park.
Both guests couldn't work out how to lock the bathroom door, very complicated. Unsure if it was broken?
All in all, was a good stay and would stay again. Great location in the city, short walk to lots of eateries and even a Woolworths. Close to the Odeon Theatre.
