Hotel Huntington

Everything was clean and quiet

The room that I was given was on the first floor directly in front of the pool. The noise level is extreme. I was given a handicap accessible room, even though I don’t have any handicap. The shower had a large shower bench in there. I had to drag it out to be able to take a shower. This was disgusting. All the baseboards in the room are scuffed up and missing paint. The dresser drawers are missing knobs. And the one table in there is wobbly. The furniture is stained and needs to be cleaned. This room needs to be upgraded or taken out of use. I asked staff if they could put me in a room that was not handicap accessible and they told me this was the last room available. I was greeted in the morning by a cockroach. As soon as I saw it, I packed my things and left at 6:30 in the morning. Unacceptable and I’ll never return. This is my second stay at the hotel. I was with my daughter the weekend prior visiting my dad at city of Hope and the room on the second floor was better than this, and I didn’t see any bugs.

A very clean and friendly hotel that's also inexpensive (including no hidden parking fees) - a hotel that is quiet but also close to all amenities. Very close to Santa Anita and Pasadena and an easy commute into Los Angeles proper. A great place where you can get to everything that LA offers - without being in the belly of the beast!

It was a great stay, we only stayed for one night it was like a last minute kind of thing. Overall it was well maintained and really clean the beds were spacious. It was pretty cheap and very welcoming. The only negative thing I could say is that the pool showed it was opened from 9AM-9PM but when I got their the front desk person informed me that they close it at 7PM.

Shower never heated up beyond Luke warm. No facial tissues. Bed was not as comfortable as could be. sagged in the middle.

This is a great getaway whether you are traveling or just want to relaxe
