Hotel and the view were fantastic, but beware if you ever left anything in the hotel room and try to get it back after check out...Good luck.

Great efficient hotel. The staff was warm, welcoming and very helpful. Breakfast was a good presentation and tasty. Amazing views of Mt Fuji right from the room. Room has good air conditioning. Plenty of parking spaces. The hotel shows sign of aging and needs some upkeep; like peeling wall paper and dated/worn furniture. The futon was quite thin, not a very comfortable sleep. Despite this I left happy with my decision to stay overall and had an amazing visit. Cheers to the staff and their hospitality!

The hotel has a brilliant location with views over the lake and Mt. Fuji. The hotel was probably at its best 20 + years ago but seems dated now. There were damaged fittings in the ceiling, the tech is poor (shaky WiFi, TV not able to cast etc) and such a large amount of floor space taken up by unused communal areas. Had half board and it was getting a bit repetitive after the third day.

This is a traditional Japanese hotel with futon mattresses on the floor for your bed. No shoes permitted. It is older but I found the place charming especially after I found the fabulous hot tub spa rooms where clothing was prohibited ( woman’s separate from mens) Next time I would definitely get the rooms facing mount fuji with their own private spas. I did not care for the breakfast included which was very authentic with fish and seaweed and a bunch of weird food. But fun to try once. We really had a good time seeing mount Fuji from the roof top deck. The deck needs some tender loving care. The staff spoke minimal English but were very nice.
