Ideal setting and wonderful staff. Spoilt slightly by drain Smells (rm15). Restaurant food good but again slightly spoilt by too much salt in the curries (starters were excellent). Good vibe in the evening. Very friendly bar. On site free parking good. Easy stroll into Tamworth. Castle and surrounding park well worth a visit. Overall happy with my stay and would consider going again.

Breakfast was nice. The Tamworth Arms is a short walk from the town centre. Pleasant staff :)

Room was thick of dust, very poorly cleaned. Hairs on the bed, shower stained, toilet dirty. Towels not clean. Had to check out immediately due to the room not being fit for purpose and booked into a different hotel. Property are doing nothing to rectify this
