This area of Iceland is absolutely beautiful. This property is located near a lovely, uncrowded waterfall, The "quad" style kitchen had everything you need if you wanted to cook. Private bathroom was a bonus.

The guesthouse was close to the small town and the mountain and a a great base for exploring the peninsula. The guest house we had was an apartment style with four single beds and a kitchenette. It was clean and well maintained. Would definitely stay here again if we came back to the area.

The receptionist was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Even though we arrived an hour before the official check-in time, we were warmly greeted and happily accommodated. We were given the key to our room right away, and it was spotlessly clean. The excellent service made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.

The reception is very friendly and helpful to show us everything in the rooms and kitchen. The guesthouse has a well equipped modern kitchen with double cooking stations! We stayed in room 11 and 12 with open to below glass windows, and the view is fantastic. From the room, we just sit in the chairs and enjoy the Kirkjufell glaciers and mountains surrounded in the clouds with sunset down to the ocean. Will come back again!
