First time visiting SH, China. We stayed 8 nights at this hotel. Very welcoming hotel staff, great housekeeping! Highly recommend this hotel and the location is absolutely great near the Jing'An temple and shops!! 10/10

My stay at Swissôtel Grand Shanghai was average overall. The hotel feels quite old and could benefit from renovation. The auto touch lighting system in the room was not very user-friendly. The shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner bottles should also be replaced with better pump bottles, as the current pumps were very hard to press and the liquid was difficult to come out. The air-conditioning also did not seem to be well maintained, as there was noticeable noise when it was set to auto mode. The main plus point of the hotel is its convenient location, surrounded by many shopping centres and amenities.

Very clean rooms. You can have breakfast for a fee. Nice lobby. A lot of malls in the area. There's a mini mart across the street.

Room clean. Staff courtesy. Checkout breakfast but didn’t eat in restaurant, few basic items yet expensive . Room not ready until after 4pm?. Only 2 front desk agents work hard at front desk with many guests waiting to pickup room keys or checkin. Small area for Taxis come in hotel on both directions . Too many bicycles parked around the hotel walkway making very difficult to walk the street outside hotel to the malls.
