I paid for breakfast, but when I arrived at the hotel, I was informed that it was complimentary. This was my only negative experience; otherwise, everything was very good. The place is quite peaceful, it is close to everything, and the staff also speaks English, which makes communication much easier.

All the staff was friendly. The location was great, easy access to all the places we wanted to visit. I didn't like that they disabled the TV that you couldn't change the language to English My only complaint is that your room is not cleaned unless you stay 6 nights and we were there for 5 days. I would suggest they offer your room being swept, as they give you a hand brush and dust pan. Oh and it's true the air conditioner in the rooms are basically for show, only cool and for a woman like me night sweats are real.

The breakfast menu was poor. The rooms over heated (no control). Too much noice from the restaurant below. Nobody came to clean our room until we left. They charged for parking. We did not know about this.

Overall our stay was good. Locality is excellent with a 5 min walk to Trocadero overlooking the Eiffel Tower, 15 min walk to Arc de Triomphe where you can hop on the Big Bus to tour around Paris. Loads of restaurants and cafes very close by. Breakfast was excellent quality with a wide array of food including hot food. The property has an easy to use laundry, lounge area with a fire and espresso coffee available for free. The room however was disappointing with the bathroom being dated and smelled mouldy, badly in need of a renovation. The overall rating of the property was diminshed by the room itself. Staff were very friendly although check in is very late in the day forcing us to have to wait a long period for a room to be ready. This is. It ideal when you have been sitting on a pla e for 24 hours and just want to get into your room to rest and freshen up.
