Grand Park Royal Cozumel - All Inclusive

Not bad, but not great either. Value for money for sure…… but if you are used to good food and clean rooms probably not for you. Had to ask for towels and to sweep our room. The food meh at very best.Even the “dressy colored shirt restaurants below meh. Good news the supermarket is only a 5 minutes $10 cab ride away. The staff was pretty nice and did their vey best. The water was beautiful ! If I did it again I would pay a little more for somewhere better.

Love this resort.

The room was old and smells bad! We had water leaking from the sealing in the toilet. I had to call twice and went to the reception to notify staff. The issue was fixed, however, no one asked to any inconvenience fees or anything. AC was bad quality! Good was a ok, but not a lot of options as at other places

I have stayed in a lot of resorts in Mexico over the last 20 yrs. We visit multiple times a year. This was one of the worst. The food was not good at all. You expect a lower level of food at a buffet, and we are prepared for that, but it was really lacking in all areas. The other restaurant options were also not worth the wait to get in. We could not get water in our room for 2 days. We would call or visit the front desk and would be told it would come, but it never showed up. I finally told them I wasn't leaving the front desk until we got some on the 3rd day. I brought a 32oz thermal cup with me and tried to get the bar area to fill it up, but was told it was too big. Water should not be something I have to argue about, especially when Mexico's water is not drinkable. We went off resort the last 2 days to get decent food and water. We arrived at 1:00 PM, but check-in was at 3:00 PM. We were told we couldn’t use the hotel areas until then unless we paid $30 per person, totaling $120 for our family of four for 2 HOURS. In the past, at all other Mexico resorts, we could leave our luggage and enjoy the bar area and food, just not the room, but this time we were informed that the fee was required for the extra 2 hours. After charging my card, he said the $100 was for an "early room check-in." I never wanted early access to the room, and the $20 was for taxes. It felt like a scam, but they had already taken my money. AVOID resort. I am maxed on word limit, but there is much more

Thank you all at Grand Park Royal for a wonderful trip! The resort felt like home and we enjoyed everything you offer to your guest. Can’t wait to return with more family. Highly recommend this resort to anyone with or without young ones. The hotel has kind workes amazing views and the food won’t disappoint. Muchas gracias! The rooms were OK nothing to brag about or would I stay here again NO!!! The staff was not friendly at all except for IVAN!!!! he was always nice and a smile on his face and very friendly. Food was horrible bland taste not good at all. I will not be booking thru any of their resorts again. I stood in their other place in Puerto Vallarta and it was horrible their too. Should have not even stayed here in Cozumel but i thought I would give them another try. STAY AWAY!!!!

Staff was amazing and the view was terrific. Great deal for all inclusive

They got the taxis for you when you were ready to go. They do not offer bottled waters so we would have to go to the store outside of the resort to buy them

I would say this is a 2 or maybe 3 star resort. The pools are nice. The rooms are ok and clean but have a hard time staying cool. Average room temperature in my room was 76. Food is well below average. Definitely a budget resort.
