Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. A very clean hotel and a beautiful setting.

Absolutely LOVED our stay. Everything was perfect. We even got upgraded! Room was lovely and clean with a pretty view from the 1st floor (2nd floor in North America). Location was excellent.
Our favourite staff was Benedict at the front desk- she was so lovely and friendly. She was a joy to see at the reception.
Our other favourite staff was Sammy at the restaurant who was attentive and also hilarious. Our “4 course” dinner was divine. Spoiler alert: you get more than 4 courses.
On market day, don’t plan on moving your car. We took a detour that google set for us and it was stressful. The WiFi isn’t fast, but it wasn’t really an issue for us. I would definitely stay here again. I didn’t want to leave.

Corner room in Mill with water view (#4) with A/C and cross ventilation highly recommended.
Bed, however, is very lumpy and mattress should be replaced.
Good continental or a la carte breakfasts. Excellent lunch in their bistro ‘Au fils du temps’. Order pistachio cream profiterole if available!

Loved this very cute property in the very cure village of Brantome! Highly recommend a stay - staf and local are superb.
