Very clean room . Staff very helpful and respectful. Breakfast choices were excellent. If I went to Matsumoto agin I would happily stay at Ace Inn

MY ROOM WAS SMALL, BUT IT WAD OK FOR ONE NIGHT IN MATSUMOTO. EVERYTHING WAS MAINTAINED WELL BUT NEEDS UPDATE. STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL AND POLITE. BREAKFAST WAS MEDIOCRE BUT WE PAID VERY LOW RATE SO COULD NOT EXPECT GOURME FOOD.
WE RECOMMENDED THIS HOTEL.

The hotel provides free parking, but is on the other building which is about a few minutes walk from the hotel. Room is small. The complimentary breakfast was a bonus

no AC open window, dirty, old, light at dresser made the entire room warm and unbearable. I complained to front desk and someone came in telling us opening windows. We stayed on 2nd floor facing street and it was noisy. Whenever we put the room card in, the light generated extra heat inside the room and we had to constantly remove the card to cool down the room. We had a restless night there.

Convenient for public transport and the castle was within walking distance. Unfortunately i was given a smoking room which stank like an old ashtray. The room was heavily nicotine stained and even after using freshner it still smelt.the Free breakfast was limited in choice and not topped up, so first in best selection. The staff are friendly and helpful and i will stay here again but i will specify a non smking room.
