The location was perfect as we prefer to be away from main tourist hub but it was an easy walk to bus station. rental bikes and scooters outside. Laundry convenient. We had a family of four and booked the family room, 9th floor. Plenty of room. Simple but clean and comfortable!

Really nice property with easy check in. Close to the city but in a quiet street. Easy walk to great eating and access to rail and city.

Hotel is not well maintained. Not as advertised aesthetically. Reception staff is great but management is horrible. When you bring up a concern it doesn’t get handled. I’m going back to Japan Kyoto again and would not return to same hotel.

The hotel could do a better job putting toilet paper in the room. Had to retrieve it in the lobby which doesn't seem right on some level. A coffee pot in the room with coffee would have been a nice touch. Excellent staff, clean room, room layout and entrance to the hotel nice. Safety deposit box a good thing.
