Will stay here everytime! Absolutely love this place. 2nd time and will continue to be back.

I love this place.Central to everything -Frirndly staff - Charning and spacious room - reasonably priced.

The manager Gaetano (not sure about the spelling) was extremely helpful and friendly. We only stayed there for one night and he called and made reservations for us for both lunch and dinner. Very good restaurants. Were were grateful that he called the taxi and negotiated a fair price for us to go to the airport. Btw, hiring a taxi is not as simple as I thought. We were way overcharged many times. This is another story. The breakfast was good and exceeded our expectation. The breakfast room has an ornate frescoed ceiling. We were impressed by the this baroque building's grandeur once we stepped inside. We found out from the manager that it was built in 1780, once the palace of a Sicilian baron. The location of this hotel is in a walking distance to all major attractions in the old town. Our room was on the 1st floor (2nd floor in the US) and we were pleasantly surprised that there was even a small elevator! I have never been this pleased from my semi-random hotel selection. I felt like I won the lotto this time! Thank you again to hotel manager Gaetano for having made our stay very pleasant and unforgettable. I have never put so much time in writing a review but I have to do it this time as a way to thank Gaetano. Gaetano, you are the best! Thank you.

Gentleman in charge was excellent

Everything was great on our stay, starting with attitude of the personnel, excellent location , clean rooms and good breakfast.

Our host was amazing! So friendly and knowledgeable! This was a palace and is 200 years old. The floors are original and the frescos are 100 years old!! Absolutely beautiful!! We appreciated our balcony to look over the lovely street! Conveniently located, it's in the heart of Catania!! Parking is a challenge! Thanks to our host for showing us a spot!! Breakfast was lovely with Sicilian specialties!

What a gem! Close to everything yet quiet with triple windows. Hospitality? After we arrived from a very early flight, we wanted to drop off our bags. Well, the manager also insisted we have coffee and partake of breakfast too! The breakfast is amazing, with a great variety on offer and you eat in the parlor of an old palace with painted coffered ceilings. The beds were excellent. A/C worked. Very convenient location on the via Etnea and all the major spots.

Continental breakfast, very fresh.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Breakfast in the Rococo dining room a treat..food options good even for the celiac in our family. Thank you.
