It was our first time to Paris and we had no idea where to stay but we lucked out on booking this property. It was clean, quaint and the location could not have been any better. Steps away, we found numerous cafes, easy accessibility to the metro and the one and only Eiffel Tower. Would definitely recommend!

My wife and I stayed at Le Walt from May 17th to the 21st (4 nights), during which I had a business meeting. The property location is very good, right in front of the Ecole Militaire Metro stop, and the 6th arrondissment is a very quiet area with plenty of bistros and about a 20-25 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. Staff were friendly and helpful, although I was a little disappointed with the check-in process. My wife and I had just arrived in the morning from the airport, and no one else was in front of us, but the front desk clerk opted instead to first help a departing couple with deciding where to go sightseeing. Then when we finally were up, the process was interrupted again to help check-out another couple. Good hotel overall, but I wouldn't call it Four Star. For example, I had a business meeting and wanted to touch up my dress shirt the day before. The iron turned out to be dirty and created a large stain on the front of my white shirt. I went down to the front desk and pointed out the dirty iron delivered to my room and the damaged shirt, suggesting that the hotel should pay for my shirt to be professionally dry cleaned prior to my checking out on Thursday 5/21. The front desk clerk said 'oh, I don't think I can do that, but if I 'used a little water from the sink my stain would probably come right out.' In my experience traveling around the world, this is not the reaction expected from a so-called 'Four Star Hotel.'

We loved Hotel Le Walt, the location is awesome; right next to Rue de Cler and the Eiffel Tower is only a short walk away. The hotel itself is beautiful inside and out, the staff were always top notch. Dead silent at night. I've been to Paris three times now and this would be the hotel I would return to if I come back. I wish all of my hotel experiences could be this clean and polished. I do have a few issues that are minor: the bathroom faucet was very strange, operating differently every time we used it. At one point the whole faucet handle popped off in my hand, but it just popped back on and still worked, although weirdly. Lack of an iron in the room. Squeaky bathroom door. No bathroom fan that I could find, but that seems common in hotels. Bathroom fans are very important for privacy. A few more electrical outlets or USB options would be a nice touch, but we made do just fine. Those things aside, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return. We both agree Hotel Le Walt earned very high marks.

Staff was helpful in suggesting pharmacies, restaurants and navigation. The complementary water and beverages were a plus! Location was nice for bakery, stationary, chocolatiers for souvenirs. A good 15- 18 min walk to Eiffel Tower and river. Plan on lots of walking or Uber which can get pricey from this hotel.

It was clean room .staff are so helpful

This hotel knocked it out of the park. As expected the room was small but we did not spend much time in it. It was located in a great area, it was clean and furnished really well. The staff was excellent. Highly recommend this place. Thank you

Love the location, steps from metro and Rue Cler. Staff is excellent. Size and comfort of room is great. This is our 2nd stay here, will return.
