A fantastic stay for two nights! Highlights started on registering, it’s your birthday what wine would you like? A free bottle of wine✅It gets better, we wanted a city view, what about the top floor facing the marina, the harbour, and the sky city tower, ✅✅✅could it get any better yes, the room was well laid out✅ the bed divine✅the shower great✅the location, close to the viaduct central, restaurants, bars, etc✅✅✅we walked to catch the Ferry, the bus and train✅ The staff were phenomenal, warm greetings that always felt genuine, the stay was 100% faultless- thank you Travel Lodge Wynyard Quarters ✅❤️✅❤️✅❤️✅❤️✅❤️✅❤️✅

Amazing staff & tons of nearby parking places to choose from. Our room unfortunately had a funky smell coming out of the bathroom but was otherwise clean and comfortable.

Booked for a special birthday staycation. Member perks include 1 free bottle of wine. On arrival at check-in we were asked if we wanted red or white wine, we selected white and the attendant came out from the back with an ambient bottle of chardonnay. First thought was that the bottle of white was not chilled, but same bottle available in lobby fridge for purchase but not offered? Anyways, got into room and put wine in fridge but THE FRIDGE WASNT EVEN COLD! Light was on but it was ambient! No biggie.. moved the temp dial to the lowest temp and put wine in, thinking it’d be chilled by the time we got back later from dinner. It wasn’t. Chromecast also didn’t work for the duration of the stay, attendants did try and fix it but it still didn’t work. Didn’t feel like being difficult for a one night stay, but it was super annoying! Not inclined to book again.

Lovely staff and manager who tried their best to solve issues! It is in a good location but not ideal with paid parking. I would give it 3.5 but the rating only allows me to give whole stars

We booked a room which included a free breakfast and had the option of choosing any one of 3 cafes. The cafe we chose was awesome.
