Hotel Clover 769 North Bridge Road

The room was clean. Housekeeping freshened the room every day. The location in the Arab district made it easy to walk out the door and find lots of eating places for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Clean room, nice staff, great location ... got all what i needed for a nice stay. Just the mattress could have been better.

I'll give a star for location (right behind Mosque/Arab district/super close to Haji Lane), and the staff were very kind. However, the photos are very deceiving. The room was very small which would be ok but had no window, poor lighting, water leak stains from the ceiling, caulking coming off in the bathroom, and THE WORST PART was how HARD THE MATRESSES were. I've been to jail and prison, these were worse. My back hurt after two nights and I slept poorly.

We were only in Singapore for 2 full nights, so we weren't looking for anything flash. We knew that we would only be in the room to sleep, so Hotel Clover 769 looked perfect. We loved our little room, and it had everything that we needed. There was a small fridge, desk, bed, bathroom etc. The wifi was fast and the aircon worked perfectly. I will add that we paid extra for a window, but if we stayed again, we wouldn't bother doing so as it just looked at the other windows anyway. We were very happy with our stay!

We booked identical rooms that my in laws had booked(deluxe room), but we noticed that our room was significantly smaller than theirs. The staff told us that the rooms weren't all the same sizes but told us that we had the correct room. Seems absurd that we pay the same prices but end up with very different living spaces. The room had barely enough space to open our luggage in while still being able to get to the bed. We noticed the towels were stained/dirty and even noticed stains for the replacement towels we got. The spoons were still dirty and our bedsheet had a big hole in the door end. Sound insulation was quite poor, you can hear the outside traffic and neighbouring rooms through the walls. Staff at the hotel were generally quite friendly and helpful and location was convenient (bus stop across the street, MRT 10 min walk).

Great neighborhood - lots of restaurants and shops nearby as well as wonderful murals along many of the buildings.

I chose to stay here because of its close proximity to the Arab neighborhood. Everything was close by and had many delicious food options.

I have been to Singapore many times. My first time staying here. I purely chose this hotel as it was reasonably priced, located near to Bugis MRT Station and easy for me to go back to the airport, as I had a 1-night transit en route to Brunei. Nice hotel. Very good location in the Kampong Gelam area with Arab Street and Haji Lane a few minutes' walk away. You also have Bugis Junction and Bugis Street within walking distance. An array of dining and shopping options on your doorstep. The room was fine. Medium in size. Comfortable bed, spacious. A few complimentary toiletries were included plus water and tea and coffee making facilities. I had a peaceful rest and freshen up before my next flight. Staff were pleasant and friendly. WiFi worked well. The difference between a 4 and 5 for me was that the hotel was clean, but one of my pillows was slightly stained and parts of the hotel, especially the hallway area could do we with a paint and the carpets definitely needed replacing! To be honest I normally stay in the Marina Bay area which I prefer. This was fine for 1 night. No complaints and would recommend.
