නියමයි The rooms were quite small for a family of 4 but we still loved our stay. We had a large bed and the kids slept on a pull out couch. The air conditioning was a welcomed relief after a hot day exploring Venice!

I loved my stay in this hotel. The staff was really friendly and helpful and the location was great. Lots of cafes, restaurants, and stores around and just 3-4 blocks from Piazza San Marco.
Breakfast was the best part of the day with fresh brewed coffee of your choice, fresh baked baguettes and croissants, cold cuts, cheeses, pastries, juices, milk, yogurt, cereal, granola, boiled egg, etc.

Every thing was perfect! Right in the middle of all the major lansmarks. Loved the old venetian charm.

I had a great stay in this hotel. Very comfortable bed, good size room with air conditioning. The staff is amasing and went extra miles to accommodate my needs. Highly recommended!

The carpet and wallpaper are dated, it brings a 'history' to the room but it needs updating.
Air conditioning cannot be set lower than 17 degrees Celcius (62F).
City tax could only be paid in cash. You will find this in other hotels too.
Check-in takes place in the main hotel area, but some rooms are accessed via a different entrance.
There was no elevator/lift in our part of the hotel, bear this in mind if you struggle carrying luggage up the stairs.
They want you to leave the room key at reception. It is a heavy keyring with 3 keys attached.
Only plug socket type L was available. Make sure you have an adapter. Type c (standard European) will fit but it might be hanging out a little.
The bathroom was new and nice, there was a bright light above the sink.
Despite being fairly close to the main square, there was very little noise outside.
Reception desk staff are mixed - some struggle with English or speak very quietly, others are energetic and easy to understand.

This was such an amazing hotel. We stayed close to the train station the first day in Venice at a super expensive hotel & Hotel castello was way better & cheaper. It is a 30 min walk from the train station but it sounds worse then it actually is even with luggage or you can take the water taxi. Many restauraunts near by. Historic type hotel & we loved it ! Staff was amazing ! Super clean.

All the steps to our room were hard and we even had a few steps down into our bedroom but everyone & everything else was wonderful. We didn’t eat breakfast there so cannot comment on the food.

If you want a midevil experience this is it.
Room was big with air conditioning, Bathroom looked like it was newly renovated with a beautiful soaker tub that had a hand held shower. There was no elevator, but they had a staff member take our luggage up to our room. The ceiling were very low so would not be good for a 6ft person, carpet on the floor was not very clean roof top patio that we could not use because the door was broken and it was closed, no English tv stations, this was a very disappointing hotel. Not well cared for.
