One of the main reasons I rated as high as I did was the location
Which is great and close to Kyoto station. One particular staff honestly could not be bothered. Most were pleasant but one younger man could not be bothered seemed annoyed when ask for assistance. The washing machine worked well however the dryer was a money pit. It over 2 hours of me paying every 30 min to get dry. I would not stay here again people forget we are on vacation and hospitality could add to your stay but this place took away from it. After having stellar experience in karaska hotel of colors in Tokyo we’re the level of hospitality was superb. This was a bummer.
Rooms are good bedding was amazing with down comforters Ac was good. The bathroom was good. Although there was dust on the Tv and underneath the beds it seemed it was never cleaned . This stay left me wanting to shorten my stay and go to another hotel.

Central located hotel in Kyoto. Rooms were very small as well as the bathroom. Hotel staff very helpful and assisted to ship our luggage to our next destination. Hotel staff also helpful with advice and also storing our luggage until we were ready to depart.
