EA Hotel Tosca

Clean room, good location, friendly staff.

I had to leave a comfortable hotel down in Prague 1 when the price doubled, so I moved up to this really fun and quite convenient area of the EA Tosca, even though its own price at that point was still higher than I usually pay for something a little more upmarket. In the end, my stay was ok, buuuut, the room had no TV (a TV is pictured in this room class), no tea and coffee, heating didn't work, products were only the single all-in-one wall bottle, and only one very soft pillow that didn't allow sitting up in bed comfortably, and one thin towel. Carpet was very worn, and fittings were generally just a little shabby. I didn't complain, because my schedule my meant it was easier just to make do, and in spite of all the above, I felt ok - just far too expensive for such limited appointments, but I couldn;t really have done so, if I wanted to, because the desk was daylight hours only. There seemed to be a cafe or breakfast place, but I never saw it open, if it ever was. Now, I did like the staff on check-in and also the polite houskeeping staff, so that was quite good. And the location is great for nice cafes and bars and tram-sport options, and everything is a little cheaper than in Prague 1 (slightly), and you could walk there, anyway. So I mean, if you want amongst the most bare-bones ensuite options with a relatively clean and comfortable bed, and you happen to find that the room is on a rate befitting that, it's the right option.

Check out at 10am is too early

Nice staff. Pretty much that. Room was smelly and horrible. Bathroom and toilet were somewhat dirty.

The room was dirty and smelled bad like rancid cigarette smoke. The bar mentioned in the listing was never open although there’s one next-door that is very nice. Location is good next to Metro Station.

Money was stolen out of my room when it was cleaned. $250 USD to be exact. I left money inside my bag pocket and it was not there when I returned after the room had been cleaned. Also, there was no AC nor screens on the windows and the fan was broken so the room was unbearably hot so could not be in the room for most of the day. STAY AWAY!
