Santa's Igloos Arctic Circle

The staff were so wonderful and helpful it made my Solo travel experience one of the most memorable trips ever. The location was perfect and I would recommend this hotel to anyone. I would consider this the BEST hotel in Rovaniemi, Finland.

I want to stress how accommodating and attentive the staff was. Reception truly was very welcoming and I do not want my review to reflect on them at all. Could not have been happier with them. That being said the property condition was just not it. There was mud EVERYWHERE; black snow, bit construction signs and and large construction trucks - it just totally totally ruined the feel of the place. The cabin itself was pretty low end in my opinion. Coming from The Northern Lights Village - this was definitely a downgrade and did not feel luxurious or relaxing at all :/ the hottub was nice but the view was black snow, mud and an ugly wooden panel; again just ruining the entire moment. The cabins also had these drapes that were very annoying to deal with and quite literally block the Aurora. I had to wait several pictures to remove the drapes. Disappointed by the location but very happy with the Aurora Borealis. I hate to leave such a critical review but I think it’s important for consumers to know what they are getting for $600/night. Value is just not there.

Such a great place to stay! We got lucky with the northern lights view. Restaurant was excellent!

There is not enough restaurant servers during dinner and some guests (me and few other people) felt neglected.

No hot tub but staff was awesome very clean although it would be better to have snowmobile rentals or golf cart rentals available for older people the walk back and forth to where the activities are can be inconvenient.

It was absolutely fabulous to stay in Santa Claus Village Igloos!!!! They were beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and the bathroom looked brand new. The employees were nothing but helpful and very friendly. It was so cool laying in bed at night looking at the open sky through the glass igloo. Everything at you need to do or see within walking distance. The only way to see Santa Claus Village!! Highly recommend!!!!!

Met all expectations. Staff was extremely wonderful.
