Moxy Berlin Ostbahnhof

Lovely check in staff, great room, clean spaces.

The hotel was overall nice with warm and friendly staff and in an extremely convenient location. However, there was no safe or phone for communication which meant that every time there was an issue (not enough towels, only made one bed etc.) we would have to go down and ask them which was slightly inconvenient.

What a great hotel, with a friendly, relaxed vibe, great staff. Lovely rooms with comfortable beds. Wish we had longer in Berlin. Berlin Wall a short walk away, was amazing. Found a great outdoor bar over the bridge, cheap beer and the Germany football game, back at the hotel we continued watching the football in the cosy reception with bar. Great night. Sad to leave. Would definitely go back.

It is recommended hotel and well organized and also near the main train station

The room was very small but, quiet. The TV reception was touch and go. Even with the ongoing construction, the lobby, restaurant, and room were clean. The staff was very attentive and courteous. It’s location across from the train station was extremely convenient.

This is an excellent hotel to stay in. Perfect city centre location right next to Ostbahnhof station so incredibly easy for travel. Local shops within walking distance too. The hotel itself is very clean with great facilities. I didn't eat there, but the €21 cost of breakfast seemed very overpriced to me (compared with other hotels I've stayed at). The room itself was clean and reasonably well equipped, however no wardrobe or chest of drawers and only 3 coathangers provided on a hook for clothing! This isn't really good enough - if you can't provide a wardrobe, at least provide an adequate amount of coathangers! I noticed that the bedsheets had holes in too, so perhaps an upgrade required here. The room was attended to daily, but apart from the initial 1 and a half rolls of toilet paper, no more was provided. I bought my own, mainly so that I had something soft enough for my skin (the hotel variety might as well have been sandpaper!) and so that I had an ample supply. Despite being next to a mainline train station, the soundproofing was excellent with the window shut. But in 26 degrees, I need some cool air in the room. Unfortunately I couldn't use the aircon as there were no instructions provided and trying to understand the panel completely defeated me! The staff were friendly and seemed helpful. I will definitely stay here again and perhaps tackle my criticisms in person next time!

Staff were really friendly and helpful - overall a nice hotel. Breakfast was mostly continental - with only selected hot items (scrambled eggs, some chicken “nuggets” and baked beans - quite a weird combo). One critique - the bed in room 423 was terrible - it felt like a fold-out bed.

The hotel was smart and quirky/modern similar to other Moxys, just five minute walk from the train station. The room was fairly small but comfortable with cool lighting round the TV and tables. My laptop just about fitted on the table but there is plenty of room on the ground floor to work if you need to. The room also didn't have a safe box. Bathroom was small but shower was decent enough but no demisting mirror or magnifying mirror like some modern hotels have. Staff on reception and at the bar were friendly. Overall my stay was good enough for my two nights in Berlin.

Had higher expectations for Moxy. This wasn’t a great hotel.
