Great staff and the meals are the highlights. Unfortunately the rooms are showing their age. If you don’t mind that then this is a great place to stay.

The staff were friendly and very helpful throughout our stay and made every effort to accommodate our needs. We really enjoyed the food, it was excellent as were all the catering staff.

නියමයි Great stay at this traditional Japanese hotel! Property is older but clean and kept in good condition. Staff is excellent. They go out of their way to make sure you’re taken care of during your stay such as booking your shuttle each morning for drop off / pick-up from town, breakfast and dinner times.

Room was clean and staff was very courteous. Good option for visiting Nikko overnight and Japanese dinner/breakfast included.

The room was a basic Japanese style tatami room. Unfortunately there was no elevator to the second floor, although the hotel staff did help with carrying the bags up to the room. Location and price were OK because we were coming by car.

Beautiful traditional Japanese experience with onsen and set dinner and breakfast meals. We got to experience the way Japanese people spend a short vacation in Nikko.
