B&B HOTEL Gdańsk Old Town

The room was spacious and clean, the staff were nice, and the location is excellent — right on the main street in Old Town. Unfortunately, for the price, I would not recommend this hotel. The biggest problem is the lack of basic amenities and attention to detail. There was **no hair conditioner** provided at all, which is absurd for a hotel at this price point. The bath towels were tiny, there were **no USB charging ports**, and the room layout seemed designed with no thought to how guests actually get ready. The bathroom mirror was very small with no space for makeup or personal items. There was another mirror by the entryway, but again no surface nearby for a hair dryer, makeup, or toiletries. There was space for personal items elsewhere in the room — but no mirror there. It felt very poorly thought out. The hotel was also surprisingly loud. Housekeeping started vacuuming at **7 a.m.**, which woke me up, making this the loudest hotel we stayed in on our trip. On top of that, the hotel did not honor the extras included in the booking. My reservation included a **free gift card**, which was never provided, and the staff seemed confused about it. There was also supposed to be **free breakfast for downloading the app**, but that did not work either. Good location and clean room, but for the price, I expected far better.

Great hotel, very clean and spacious room. The hotel was in a fantastic location in the old town and an easy journey by tram and a few minutes walk to the main station. We were able to leave our bags to make the most of our last day and the staff were all polite and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Great location and easy to find. But the first impression was spoiled by not well trained staff who did our check in. I know that not everyone speaks well English, but the young woman who done our check in used just few simple words like ID, sign, keys and second floor. No please, thank you or polite small talk. We had no idea about the breakfast option or spa. The following days as the staff changed we saw a huge improvement as we were greeted with smile and hello, good morning or how are you.

The breakfast offered an exceptionally wide range of choices and was of high quality. The spectacular view from the windows of the breakfast room on floor 5 was memorable.
