Motel 6 Somers Point, NJ - Ocean City - Wild Wood Beach

The ice machine was broken the air conditioning unit was making noise all nite long

No frills spot to stay near OCNJ.

Does not match pictures. Place is not well kept. Looks like it should be torn down.

The staff there do not care about clients I get it’s a motel but the towels were dirty the front guy and his mom are very rude did not want to give us 4 towels even tho it was 4 of us staying in one room. The rooms were not the cleanest and it smelled rly bad in the room.

I booked 1 room two different times but for the same weekend! The day I was arriving they called me and told me they were canceling my reservations! Mind you i booked over 6 months in advance ...they said they were overbooked the day I was supposed to be there! I live in Central New York and was traveling down there! I will never ever make a reservation at this place!

No amenities whatsoever. Don’t need a lot but the basic shampoo, hair dryer, and iron would be nice especially when traveling by plane.

Accessible for pet

I would never stay here again. Here are a list of my complaints: 1) they could not provide a key card for my door, so the man at the front desk had to let us into the room every time we needed access to our hotel room. 2) next, I got a bruise on my hip within the first 10 seconds of entering my room because the doors to the hotel rooms have such a quick rebound on the self closure. If you require a handicap accessible door, good luck. 3) the comforters in our room had cigarette butt burns in them. 4) we were given three towels that were the size of hand towels for showering. We went and asked for more and the response we got was “no, I already put some in your room” 5) make sure you bring your own ice and water. You cannot get any ice or water all at this hotel, you have to walk a mile down the road to the Wawa. 6) lastly, the rooms are so damp. My clothes actually felt wet when I would put them on. Would not stay here again, but I was in a crunch for a hotel so this sufficed for that need.

Comfortable enough stay for one night traveling home in the morning. Key card system was not working. "Hot tub" was not operational. Friendly and helpful staff. We did not see coffee readily available in the morning. Good location. Good parking. Dogs did stay for free.

Friendly staff...nice quiet neighborhood.
