Loved our stay at Surfcomber. Close distance to everything. Had fun time at the pool! Beautiful beach. Clean hotel, nice room. Would love to come back at some point.

Okay little Retro hotel but not what are accustomed to for it being a Kimpton. Rooms are small and dark and very, very small bathroom. Pool closes at 7 and outdoor restaurant before 6 - so, no leisure time hanging out there. Restaurant has great breakfast and overall friendly stuff.

The rooms were nice. The Staff was very friendly and helpful, from the happy hour to the front desk to the bar area, and coffee in the morning. All very helpful and friendly. I was especially impressed with the young people that worked at the beach to provide towels umbrellas and chairs. They were all very professional and particularly friendly which made our time at the beach that much better. The pool area and shaded area by the back bar/restaurant were also very well maintained and made for a peaceful stay.

We arrived very early in the morning, many hours before our check-in time. The staff at the front desk was very kind and friendly and checked us into a room so that we could get some rest. The room was clean, comfortable, and exactly as represented in the pictures. The pool was great, location was almost ideal. Hundred percent would stay again in the future.

Overall, the property and the staff were wonderful. The location is excellent, and the proximity to the beach made our stay even better. As of June 2026, the property appears to be undergoing some extensive remodeling, but the noise and ongoing work did not affect our stay in any way. My partner and I enjoyed our stay and found the rooms to be modern and comfortable. The only thing I’d note is that, although the cleaning team came by every day, the bathrooms could use a more thorough deep clean.
