Sonesta Philadelphia Rittenhouse Square

Absolute amazing hotel, it was comfortable and welcoming. The location was in the middle of so many things to in the city. So happy.

I honestly love staying there whenever I am doing a staycation. The staff is very nice and the room is decent size just for me. I can also walk around CC and do whatever I like. Truly love staying there!

Poor hotel

This location was awesome!!! Super central to everything! All the food, shopping, and very friendly staff! Clean rooms, would 100% stay here again!!!

Check in was easy, no issues with parking which was convenient. They have a parking deck next to the hotel and the workers there were friendly and accommodating. I thought the treat and water bowl for dogs was a nice touch to the hotel. We did not bring a dog but i noticed it and thought that was cool. They offered Starbucks items, which was great. Most places were within walking distance of the hotel so you can definitely explore some local restaurants and activities to enjoy. My husband and I were pleased with our stay and will come back soon.

It would be nice if they had water fountains or complimentary waters in the rooms. There are some stains on the sheets but clean overall

I love the Rittenhouse area and so glad for my stay at Sonesta. Great location, easy access to Center City restaurants, shops and various events for FiFa. Staff friendly, rooms clean. I just wish I had opportunity to take in the rooftop pool.

We booked this hotel for our overnight stay because they had a pool and it was supposed to be hot that day, which it was. When we checked in everything was fine. The staff was nice enough, the hotel was a little run down but it was fine. we were given pool passes which we signed out for. Only a few hours later when I realized I couldn’t find my pool passes which was an old school wrist band type thing we went down to the lobby of the hotel to ask for another one. Come to find out we signed a death warrant when signing out for the pool wrist bands. Their policy was if you lose the cheap paper band you can’t get another one nor have access to the pool. They said it was on the form we signed but we should have been made aware of this. The front staff including the managers David and Latoya were completely unhelpful could offer no solutions beyond booking an another room which David told to my husband sarcastically. The pool being the main reason to stay there I said we’d rather not stay there then. David was quick to pompously jump on the key board say sarcastically ok and refunded the room. I was so taken aback at the changed attitude and lack of solutions. I don’t know if all of the Sonesta hotels are like this. If so run. They would rather lose guests and money for the hotel then at least walk the guests to the pool. I say this because their excuse for the rigid policy is that people sneak people in. So walk us to the pool, but nope. They’d rather lose $300. Worst experience.
