This was my second time to stay at this hotel. The location is great - it’s a few minutes walk from the arena. All the staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is of good quality with lots of choices. However, the small single room I had on this visit was extremely expensive. While I understand that prices increase when the opera is on - €315.00 (inclusive of taxes and city taxes) is very high for such a tiny room. I didn’t even get a complementary bottle of water even though the weather was extremely hot. There was also a small issue as the soap dispenser in my room was broken - it was lying in the sink. It took two visits to the room to repair this while I waited in reception. I did appreciate being given a coffee while I waited. I will certainly look at other hotels on my next visit to Verona if the hotel is this expensive. I do plan to visit again as I thoroughly enjoyed the opera at such a historic venue.

This hotel exceeded my expectations! Specifically, the lobby area is so welcoming, the staff was very friendly & helpful, hotel had a light and airy feel, the rooms were cute the breakfast buffet was one of the prettiest I’ve ever seen and with so many options. Very small rooms, good for a one night stay, I must say that the air conditioner was optimal, probably the best I've had in Europe. Definitely a relief from 42° day.

Hotel was in a great location about a two minute walk from Arena. Room we had (Romeo) was spacious and slept three comfortably however it was in a separate building and you had to lug your luggage up a flight of stairs. Room itself was clean however, black tile floor was dirty and soiled your socks when walking on it.
