The room had fleas. Housekeeping never bothered to clean the room. Staff was not very helpful.

We were disappointed with this motel because it was poorly maintained, both outside and in the room. When we moved a chair away from the wall, we found hidden dirt and grime buildup that showed it had not been properly cleaned in a long time. Our third-floor room also had an unpleasant smell of stale cigarette smoke mixed with heavy perfume, which made the stay even worse. Another disappointment was the lack of onsite trailer parking. We had to leave our car and trailer across the street and simply hope they wouldn’t be towed or vandalized, which added unnecessary stress to our stay. When we arrived to check in, we were greeted not by a staff member, but by a typed out sign on the counter that read, “Be right back in 10 minutes.” We, along with two other guests waiting to check in, were left standing there with no greeting or acknowledgment. Before checking out, we stopped by the breakfast area to see what was available. Unfortunately, it was another letdown. If you enjoy making your own waffles and biscuits with gravy, it may meet your expectations. However, we were hoping for a more complete breakfast with options like fresh fruit, bacon, or sausage, none of which were offered. Normally, I wouldn’t take the time to write such a detailed review. However, after being harassed and asked three separate times to leave feedback, I felt compelled to share our honest experience. I sincerely hope others have a much better stay than we did. Traveling solo and I felt really safe here. Really friendly and helpful staff. Very clean spacious, comfortable room. Spotless attractive dining room with a lovely hot breakfast and good coffee. Great location. I’d definitely stay again.

We used the hot tub and pool. Both "smallish" and kind of cramped with about 10 folks in the room. However, we just returned from a 21 day road trip across country and 90% (hard to believe but true) of the hotels and hot tubs were out of order. Thank you for having the pool and hot tub in working order!
