The hotel and staff where amazing the location was really good the only thing I would change would be the beds they made our backs a bit sore in the mornings.

Great location for getting around but a little grubby of neighborhood. That’s more in me than them, we were at the top floor - no elevator, no AC. Again, I should’ve read more carefully since we came at 26-28C heat! It was a little unbearable but we only stayed two nights and we got a good cross breeze with windows open and coupe showers a day haha - washroom was clean. If you’re looking for old timey England I’d say this would be very cozy during winter

The Iranian fellow at the front desk is the kind of person who would do just as well fronting a 4 Seasons or other luxury hotel. He understands every aspect of a great stay for a guests experience- the Lancaster is lucky to have him

Cheked in and check out ASAP found another Hotel. It was Awfully Room was cramp like sleeping in a card board box. TV was extremely complicated to use. As was the Shower. The room had a kettle but know to put it other than the floor. Ever hat to sit on floor bend down to use it. The bed was a tiny Pvc mattress on top of a wooden box extremely uncomfortable to sleep on. Was obligated to leave key in Resepction The staff wear vary rude and intimidating and Stoll £100 pounds from May Bank account. I had already paid for the hotel so they had no right to do this. Don't say here it is a terrible hotel.

Very convenient location close to Paddington station, the staff are super nice and friendly, and very helpful. Of course the rooms are small and it’s an older building, but that is a given for this area of London and everything was very clean and well-maintained.
