We were putup in a building which was 5 minute uphill walk. This is not mentioned in the website or I wouldnt have booked. Had to come come everytime . Plus stairs .

We booked the hotel thinking it was near the lake… disappointed that we were sent to other building 5 minutes away…. Didn’t enjoy it

The location of this hotel is everything! The hotel itself is average for Europe. Nothing crazy. But you are only a one minute walk from the beautiful square and all the different places to check out, including shopping and restaurants. I would highly recommend this hotel. Make sure you get one of the upper rooms with a view of the lake.

It was OK I’ll give it a three stars. It’s pretty much just an Amazon basic room, but they did have a super mini coffee pot. No fridge no microwave. A TV with about 10 channels on it. And that’s it. It was clean and the shower were good.

Another review because we stayed here twice during our trip. Stayed one night, decided 4 days later we wanted to go back for another couple of days and spent two more days there and a night. We really enjoy this hotel. Staff is great, rooms are nice and breakfast is good!

Everything here is really great! The rooms are nice and clean. The staff really took care of us. Our balcony overlooked the lake and was right next to the church. Perfect room. Breakfast Buffett was great. I would definitely recommend anyone who is coming to Hallstatt stay here!

The location was convenient, but the balcony was very small and the price was quite high for what was offered. Travellers may want to consider staying just outside the town, as it is still within easy walking distance and may offer better value for money.
