Large public bath totally relaxed my body and mind. Location is second to none. 1 minute from hotel entrance to f Fukui station. Rain doesn’t matter. Night time free Ramen is a bonus.

Staff very disrespectful and talk behind your back. There was a simple mistake in my booking and they were not very helpful. Instead they insisted on charging an extra $50 and there’s no way around it. (I accidentally cancelled my reso and rebooked, but when rebooked I had 1 person instead of 2. They would not add the other person back without taking $50.) Rooms were very old and dated. Blanket was not great. Only nice thing was the bath house.
