Zagame’s House has a good energy, and the staff are genuinely warm, helpful, and welcoming. I appreciated the comfort of the room, especially the large king bed, which made for a pleasant stay. That said, I think honesty matters. While the hotel is enjoyable and well run, I would not personally describe it as a true boutique hotel. In my view, it feels closer to a simple, comfortable three-star stay than a distinctive boutique experience. There is nothing wrong with that, but I do think the distinction is important. My stay was comfortable, the team was lovely, I simply believe the branding sets an expectation of something more refined and individual than what is delivered.
