A very old building, without an elevator.
Rooms are spacious but lacking maintenance; in our room, the wallpaper was held in place by black electrical tape (I wish I was kidding).
There was a local festival directly across the street that was not explained to us before arriving.

We had a great stay at Adelphi Hotel in Edinburgh. Dimitris was an exceptional host and the room we stayed in was spotless and so cozy. The staff were great and very polite. Thank you 😊😊

Stay was great value. Friendly welcome. Spend a bit of money (not a lot) to freshen up curtains and paintwork and for the money it’s 5 stars.

All is good. But room construction should be improved. Such as, window is not open or close proper way and washroom has no locker and hard to open the door.
Otherwise everything was good.

It must be Hotel.com gets the worst rooms in the hotel. The room was tiny and with no space for clothes, bags etc. it was a hazard You must review these places and not rely on feedback. The other rooms may have been acceptable but obviously through 'Hotels.com.' we get the rubbish.
