Great hotel and services. Staffs were wonderful.

This was my first trip ever to Asia. I wasn't sure if I would encounter enough staff that spoke some English...This hotel's staff did not disappoint. Not only did they go above and beyond to provide me comfort, safety, and other extras, as I was residing there for a short time, while I coordinated bringing back an ill friend to Canada...Everyone was so sweet, accomodating, caring, professional yet very friendly...I felt like family! The gorgeous fresh flowers that were found everywhere, the lovely warm swimming pool, the clean lovely rooms, which were quite quiet, the shuttle service, the consierge, the food at the breakfast buffet was out of this world....not just a waffle maker or a toaster...but full buffet including amazing salad bar, asian noodles, stir fries, custom omellettes, fresh pastries, western as well as asian food, lovely coffee and teas, and fresh fruit juices with an amazing variety of choice for everyone...Dinner is a la carte, but the menu is extensive.....The gym is lovely, and well maintained. I would return in a heartbeat and have already sent a friend their, as part of their travels... it is about 15 minutes from the Airport at Bangkok..so, the shuttle picks you up ,or takes you to your flights, easily. It provides a wonderful stoppling place to use as a base, if you are just wanting to rest up before heading to other locations in Thailand...Try Ancient City...which is a short taxi ride away to see old temples....well worth it....

Room was clean & maintained. Staff were courteous, friendly & respectful. Breakfast is great with wide seltzers & cook eggs fresh. Pool was refreshing & sunny mostly throughout the day. Surrounding area is changing with undated housing. Plenty to eat (street food) in surrounding area. Also places for haircuts & massages.

Everything was great about this hotel from the pool to the kitchen. Front desk agents were super helpful and welcoming

I am a regular at the Amaranth. Coming from or going to America or in Bangkok for whatever reason, it is my home away from home. I like to soak in a big bathtub after that long flight from the States or even a long drive from the other Provinces and they have great soaking tubs. The rooms are always clean and well maintained. The beds are very comfortable, the A/C is works properly and the TV has a great variety of English channels plus Asian and a few European languages. All of the staff, from the shuttle driver to the front desk people, are all very friendly and helpful. The food is good and room service is very professional. There is a wide variety of dishes, both Asian and Western, in the breakfast buffet where you can easily get eggs to order unless you like those cold fried eggs. :0( My only complaint is the Menu has not changed in the last two years that I have been staying here. A few added or different Western offerings would be great and very appreciated. They have a great shuttle service to and from the airport running on the hour, 24 hours a day and there is no charge for this service. They also have a very good lower level parking garage which is also free. They have all of the amenities that most people are looking for and I have no complaints with any of them. If you want a comfortable stay in Bangkok try the Amaranth you won’t be disappointed.

Close to the airport and very nice rooms.

This is an excellent hotel in every way. The past stay was my third time there in the past month and I have booked again when I go through Bangkok in a week from now. The staff are fantastic, the rooms spotless and pool / fitness facilities great! There is an hourly shuttle from/to BKK and has always been on time.

This hotel caters to Chinese tourists really. It's not even that close to the airport (25 mins). Better off staying closer to downtown Bangkok. No outside bar and breakfast was really odd.
