Hotel Villa Fontaine Tokyo - Nihombashi Hakozaki

Comfortable and convenient. Small rooms as expected

Most people stay for one or two nights I stayed for three weeks with the result that the staff began waving to me every time I entered the lobby ! Perfectly positioned for transportation. One block from the Tokyo city air terminal where the shuttle buses come in from the airports. Easy walking distance to two metro lines, 10 minutes to the Hibaya Line and 3 minutes to the Hanzomon Line stations.

Room was clean but slight mold in shower/tub wall. We had to stay in the annex building while another family member stayed in the main building. Good location only 3 minute walk to airport bus station. Room is small but manageable.

We stayed at the annex . Room is very tiny with two beds . Nowhere to put the luggage so we have to walk over them. Staff are pretty nice and accommodating.

We rented a room for two nights based on the images of that particular type of room. The most important feature for choosing this room was twin beds as advertised. However, the actual room that we got was completed different, with two beds literally squeezed together and sandwiched between a window and the opposite wall. The only was to get into bed was to crawl up from the foot area as if in a capsule room. When we inquired about this discrepancy at the front desk, the answer was vague and they said that the image on the advertised page on the Hotel.com site was for another room, in another building. There was no apology and it sounded like the third party booking company (Hotel.com) was responsible for this discrepancy. The experience was so uncomfortable that we checked out after one night and explained reason to the front desk person. They didn't offer a refund for the additional night that was already charged by Hotel.com when the booking was made. The star rating we gave was very generous and honest because the other aspects were fair. However, when the services are not as advertised, particularly in a so-called hospitality business, there should have been a refund at least for the extra night's stay that was unused. This experience has influenced changes for the rest of the bookings made through this website for our overseas trip and additional bookings will also be reconsidered and most likely changed unless we hear from Hotel.com.

Helpful staff and clean room. Slightly small floorspace (there is no room to store luggage) other than that, right across from bus terminal to make getting in/out of Tokyo easy.

This location is super convenient. Super clean. Loved it.

The staff was super friendly and helpful when checking in. It was conveniently located to a metro station and a 7 eleven for a late night snack if needed. We were also able to transfer our luggage to our hotel in Kyoto.

Room was very small for 1 adult and an 11 year old, so not much room for luggage or much anything else, but the room was clean and area was very convenient and close to conv. stores and bus and rail station.
