Came to the hotel to be surprised that the hotel is not honoring the reservations due to maintenance issues. It’s after 1am and they are transferring us to another lesser hotel.

Right from the start there were problems. The AC in the room was not working and the controls were broken. Whilst I use my mobile for calls the in-room did not work and despite someone coming to fix it they just left the job half-done. The room carpet was stained and old. Every corner expecially in the bathroom had ingrained dirt. I did not request a smoking room but it was the only one they had. I was staying for an extended trip (15 nights). The property overall needs an update. The shower head was broken and sprayed water all over again I complained but it was not fixed.
