Great room , nice hotel all round. Helpful staff

Stayed 5 nights. Hotel was handy walk to my daughter's house, botanical gardens, city centre... So really handy. In general it is a lovely place. Quiet, clean, nice pool and very friendly helpful reception staff. Room was huge and pretty comfortable. Now the downside - the bed, while soft to sit on, was too soft. After 2 days my back was destroyed and I woke everyday in pain. Fun fact, 2 pages of the in room leaflet was dedicated to how highly they rate their mattresses... My sore back prefers something a little less soft and a little more supportive. The other downside was room servicing - now I'm NOT a daily service guest, however they advise in the in room leaflet that every 4 days they do a clean and full linen replacement. They don't. Day 4 I got clean towels and the throw blanket was pulled up on bed. Bed was not even made, let alone sheets changed. Floor wasn't vacuumed, dishes (bowl and cup) were left. While I would stay here again, id also look for somewhere similarly priced that may be better for me.

It’s affordable and good for overnight stays, but unfortunately our one night stay was cut short due to the terrible conditions of the AC unit which made it incredibly difficult to breathe. The AC unit had a lot of build up on it which looked like mould which triggered respiratory issues for myself and both my kids, forcing us to leave during the night.

The room was very clean and the beds are the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on. The Breakfast was beautiful as well

Staff were so helpful on my recent stay. I thought I'd booked 5 nights, however it turned out that I only booked 4 nights. Staff were so accommodating and understanding when trying to find me an alternative room at short notice as they were fully booked. Everything worked out in the end and I'm truly grateful for their patience and understanding.
