K Hotel Kensington

Very welcoming hotel. Would stay again.

Arrived at the start of the heatwave! Receptionist very helpful when I asked to drop off my bag before check in which went smoothly when I got back a few hours later. Room..allocated basement room, now, usually it would've been a deal breaker, not a fan but courtyard side so thought it would be quieter than facing Cronwell Rd so went with it. Nice enough, bit tatty around edges but comfy bed & smart bathroom. When you walk in the smell wasn't pleasant in there tbh..not sure what that was about but the air con was such a wonder I tried to get used to it & sprayed nice things to help! Free machine coffee & pastries available to guests during the afternoon which I thought was a good touch. The lift..they need to sort smell in there oh m'days! Took the stairs to avoid it, that bad! Overall, handy location, good reception & I'd probably stay again for the value

A functional hotel, ideally located, and great for a few nights. The location though is directly on the Cromwell Road. It is very noisy if you stay at the front of the hotel.

Unfortunately, my stay was not what I expected. When I arrived, I was initially given a basement room, even though there were rooms available on the 5th floor. After a lengthy discussion, the hotel eventually moved us to a room on the 5th floor. The room was not as clean as it should have been, as there were visible hairs on the carpet. Another issue was the excessive noise from the room next door. Throughout the night, there were different men coming and going, along with very loud intimate activity that made it difficult to sleep. The following day, the guest next door was also speaking loudly on the phone and laughing for extended periods. Overall, I had a very unpleasant experience. Due to the cleanliness issues and the lack of a peaceful environment, I would not recommend this hotel and would not stay here again.

Was a gift for a family friend. They thoroughly enjoyed their stay and had a great time.

Good value for London, simple but clean and good location.

Fantastic location within walking distance of a lot of restaurants and pubs and the underground very clean very helpful and friendly staff I’d definitely stay again
