Hotel Renoir*** Paris Montparnasse

I want to give a warning to those looking for a hotel in Paris - Montparnasse --- DON'T STAY HERE. 1. Our bathroom had mold on the ceiling and in corners of the shower. I took pictures and video as proof. 2. There is no elevator for the back of the building and we had to carry 5 pieces of heavy luggage up very steep and very narrow staircases. I almost fell doing that. 3. There is no iron in the rooms (Hello? We're traveling and clothes are all wrinkled). The staff said that to iron it would be a charge of 4 Euros per item. 4. They do not invest any money in maintenance and upkeep. The place looks like a a cheap youth hostel instead of a hotel. The hotel front door is broken on the left side, the place smells, the carpet is dirty, there are spider webs all over the place, the furniture is faded and old. In the end, we moved out because of the mold and got a hotel in Montmarte that was heaven sent. It cost more but was worth it. I did finally get a full refund from them after I set up a dispute with Expedia.

Neighborhood was absolutely amazing, everything was just 5 minutes walk, Metro , Bus, restaurant, supermarket, etc. every day housecleaning, Love its

Great location, a bit tired, however value for money

The staff was very nice and helpful, but the property is poor condition.

Bathroom was updated and clean, room was also clean but dated. If you ask for a room with a third bed, you basically get a cot at the foot of the room bed. Air conditioner didn’t work and after the technician repaired it, it would time out after a while. There is no baggage storage and was told just to leave bags in the lobby and they would watch them. Pictures always look better than reality. Location was good, lots of cafes in the area. Subway and bus stops are very close and convenient.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. . We stayed there because it was near the Gare Montparnasse. Many restaurants and shops around the area.

Dirty, very very small the rooms and far away from the iconics sites to visit.
