Amazing, beautiful, well located, comfortable and luxury rooms, very helpful staff and an amazing way to immerse on the Japanese culture. We stayed at another VERY luxurious and way more expensive hotel in Tokyo and Hoshinoya was much better in every aspect. I highly recommend!

The staff was exceptionally hospitable. They were kind and helpful in every aspect of my stay. I would recommend staying to anyone interested in a Tokyo vacation.

Hoshinoya staff and the propoerty dynamic are settled to diminish costs and not to serve the clients as it's supposed a high rating hotel. It's my second stay in Hoshinoya, I had previously had a poor experience at Hoshinoya Okinawa and unfortunately again at Tokyo's one. There're better options in Tokyo that would suit most experienced traveler's more!

This place is like no other I've ever stayed. It provided a relaxing escape after a long day of walking. Every floor had a tea room. When i was jet lagged and up ar 2 am,, I was thankful for a quiet place to have tea and a snack. 11/10.

The pajamas were stained and uncomfortable. The Yukata were a terrible fabric and the undershirt was very used and worn fabric. Nothing cotton or soft, very scratchy.

Words cannot describe the immense hospitality experienced. Between the incredible staff, experiences, and rooms the hotel was second to none.

We had a fantastic stay at Hoshinoya Tokyo. Having read other comments, we were prepared for the fact that this is a ryokan in a big city and not an all singing, all dancing 5 star resort. With that in mind, we had a wonderful stay embracing the
