For the past 5 months we have spent about a week each month at this Crown Plaza. We keep coming back because we like it that much. Very nice accommodations at a reasonable price and friendly staff (especially the restaurant staff at breakfast!). This visit was a disappointment. We came back one evening at 9pm and were locked out of our room. When we went to the front desk they told us we had to change rooms because they needed to do some maintenance to our room. We were in the middle of a nine day stay and were very tired. Gathering up all our belongings and moving them to another room was not what I wanted to do. At the very least some advance notice would have been nice. I spoke to two managers and while they were apologetic, it did not make this any less inconvenient. You may ask, what did I want from them? I guess I just thought this was a really bad practice and wanted them to acknowledge that and consider doing business differently in the future.

Excellent property, staff, breakfast, pool and jacuzzi were great, close to the freeways. Building is a little run down on the outside but did not affect our stay at all. Would return again!

Nice hotel in a good location close to John Wayne Airport. Only complaint is that room A/C was rather noisy and would not turn off.
