As a family, we described this hotel as "good from far, but far from good." You can tell this was probably an amazing hotel years ago. Today, its biggest strengths are the friendly staff and the beautiful entrance atrium. Unfortunately, once you get past that, everything feels dated. The rooms, bathrooms, pool, and gym all have great potential but need renovations, a deep clean, and better maintenance. We didn't even know breakfast was included until our last morning—and only because a random lady mentioned it in the elevator after breakfast had already ended! 😂 Better communication at check-in would help. The balcony was a nice feature, but it would have been even better with chairs to actually sit outside. One evening another guest warned us to hurry inside because a sketchy guy was hanging around outside. She wasn't wrong. The towels were surprisingly soft, so I'll give them that! Our second night, a large group kept the floor awake until about 2 a.m. You can hear almost everything happening in the hallway and nearby rooms. I'm pretty easy to please, but this hotel is living on what it used to be. With some renovations and better upkeep, it could be a great place again.

I had a two-day staycation and was delighted to find a reasonable price for a king jacuzzi suite available. I felt bougie at the amount of space in the suite which had a full living area (couch, TV, dining table, desk), a balcony which overlooked the beautiful and spacious indoor courtyard - great for people watching! - a standard bathroom, plus the separate bedroom with king-sized bed and jetted tub.
