DO NOT STAY HERE! I never thought AC would be such an important feature for a stay in the bay. No AC in the room they put us in, room reaked of cigarettes. We were given a well used box fan for cooling but i didnt do much and our room was consistently 75-80+. Wreaked of cigarettes, reninded me of my grandmas. Sketchy elevators. Had to chwcl out my tv remote from the from desk. Outlets that don't work. There are much closer hotels to BART stations if commuting. If coming by train, its worth it to carry your stuff the extra 0.5mi to carry it to a better hotel

Hotel refused check in and attempted to refuse refund even though it said the room was only refundable with the purchase of insurance. Drove 4 hours only to have to miss a concert, turn around and drive 4 hours home.

It’s a nice motel in the heart of Oakland. You get what you pay for. Staff was super nice, rooms were clean, and you can’t beat the location. Perfect for a weekend stay. Super safe parking.

Works in a pinch, nice place and staff. Lots of night workers in and out though but thats understandable for a cheaper place in Oakland.

සාමාන්‍යයට වඩා අඩු This hotel is pretty rundown. It’s very old, and there is a consistent smell of cigarette smoke throughout the facility. My clothes and suitcase still smell like cigarettes when I got back home.
The one positive I can say is that we did not see any bugs or pests.
Hopefully, they will be able to refurbish this property soon.
The parking was fine, however, there is a pigeon problem, and my car was defiled by pigeons perching on the pipes above parking space!

Does not look like the pictures I online! Rooms smell and are dirty and broken! Homeless people in the parking lot! Passing train wakes u up all night!

The flooring installed on the floor had gaps between sections that were grater than 1/4". In at least one case, a saw cur was only half way through the section.
The coffee maker did not work in any outlet. One of the switches by the door controlled a wall sconse, the other apparently did nothing. AC was down in tht room, I knew that and said it was acceptable.
The faucet in the battroom basin was not properly connected to the counter. The ends were sliding by 1//2 inch or rmore when the water temperature was changed.
The cost benefit was not enough to entice me to return,
