Located along legendary Cotton Tree Drive in the heart of the city, The Murray, Hong Kong, a Niccolo Hotel is a luxury iconic landmark. This contemporary urban sanctuary features 336 sophisticated spacious suites and guestrooms across 25 storeys and five elegant dining destinations including a glamorous rooftop restaurant and bar with panoramic views. The hotel’s terraces around the arches, an architectural signature of the building also showcase views of the city, Hong Kong Park and Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens. Built in 1969, the building has won multiple awards for ground-breaking and energy efficient design. Sir Norman Foster’s team at Foster+Partners has accepted the challenge to re-design the architectural and interior finishes and is now bringing this magnificent building to life as a celebration of the past and future. The Old and Valuable Tree (OVT) within the site was diligently preserved. The only registered OVT of its species in Hong Kong, the Cassia Javanica var. Indochinensis welcomes guests in the forecourt of the hotel entrance. The Murray is the only Hong Kong hotel in The Leading Hotels of the World's portfolio, a collection of independent and luxury hotels.
