Hotel Angeleno

Everything was amazing except that the outside balcony area was locked! I was just a little disappointed

Warm water pool. Great food. Friendly staff. Wasn’t aware it’s $45 extra for parking. Pricey restaurant. Our rooms were cleaned every day. Glad to find out breakfast was included.

The AC unit/mini split was extremely loud, like it was going to break. I had to turn it off in the middle of the night ending with no air conditioning. Also you can hear the freeway noise, ending with a bad night sleep. Location to UCLA was perfect.

Rooms are clean. Nice! Well-kept bathrooms. The only downside is you must valet park so coming and going can take a little bit of time but they are fairly efficient. And we had some missed housekeeping days so we would have to call for extra toilet paper or towels and that is a little slow. Sometimes you have to call again. This would not keep me from not staying there again, but those were the only real inconveniences.

Parking is expensive and the breakfast was substandard especially given the hotel's pricing. Bed and room were great.

Hotel needs self parking

Love being here! I worked here years and years ago. Everyone was nice and the property is clean and safe. :)

Overall, the hotel is nice, but clearer communication and consistency would greatly improve the guest experience. • Front Desk Instructions: The family before me was asked which side of the hotel they preferred, but I was not given that choice. I was simply handed a room number. I was greeted, and they asked for my ID and credit card, but they never explained why. Only afterward did I learn there was a $100 hold. Transparency here would help guests feel more comfortable. • Charges: I was told valet parking was $50, but my itinerary stated $45. I had to show proof before the charge was corrected. • Valet Parking: There is no option to self-park. Valet service is mandatory, and guests must pay for it each night. • Room Condition: The room and bathroom were clean. However, when it came time for bed, I opened the sheets and found two black stains that looked like permanent marker. I had to use them that way. Also, the lights on the headboard were on when I entered, and I couldn’t figure out how to turn them off. A sign showing how to control those lights would have been helpful. • Amenities: There was no microwave in the room. The complimentary breakfast was limited to bread, fruit, cereal, bagels, and toast. There was no yogurt, granola, or eggs unless you purchased something from the menu. • Pricing: For my choice of hotels, I found the stay a little pricey compared to the amenities and services offered.

Clean room, helpful and friendly front desk, valet friendly. Complimentary breakfast was decent
