Clean, centrally located, and excellent staff.

I had a great stay at The James Hotel Rotterdam and would definitely stay here again. As a solo traveler, I felt safe and comfortable throughout my two-night stay, which was very important to me. The hotel was clean, well-maintained, and much better than some of the reviews I had read beforehand. The location is excellent—right in the heart of Rotterdam and within walking distance of plenty of shops, restaurants, cafés, as well as the metro and tram, making it incredibly convenient to explore the city. I also appreciated that the air conditioning worked well, especially during the warmer weather, making the room very comfortable after a long day of sightseeing. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and found this hotel to be a great choice for anyone visiting Rotterdam. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it, especially for solo travelers.

Brilliant place. Don't hesitate to book.

The rooms were cleaned daily. Front desk staff were very professional. Tons of shops & restaurants nearby. We travel a lot, and this was the most comfortable hotel we stayed at recently. Rooms were spacious & the AC temp was set perfectly. Plenty of natural light in the room but you can just draw the curtains to keep the light out especially during the summer months. They also have a snack bar/market which is open 24/7 if you get hungry for snacks. Overall very satisfied with our stay.

Elegant and beautiful. Beds are very comfortable. Great location and very friendly staffs.

Spacious room and very clean. Excellent location and overall is good. The only drawback is , why there’s no hangers in the toilet? you can’t even hang your wet towels! Very strange design and very user unfriendly

Our room was fairly clean, but we did notice some nut shells on the floor by the bed when we arrived in the room. We thought it would be cleaned but by day 4, it was still there, which means that the cleaning didn't involve the floor. This could be improved. Everything in the room was in good condition. Air conditioning was great as it was rather hot weather in July. One thing which can't be helped by the hotel, is the traffic noise sometimes with car racing or hooting in the middle of the night.

The hotel is well situated for tourism. It is very clean and well maintained. The lobby is very dark for some reason. We could’ve used face cloths in our room and I found the pillows rather lumpy.None of the English channel news channels had signals. The hotel did make efforts to try to fix it but in our three days there nothing changed. That was disappointing.
